Frequently Asked Questions...

  • How do I join the Sun Country Quilters Guild?
Joining the guild is easy. Fill out the application with your contact information and mail it along with your membership dues to Sun Country Quilters Guild, Attn: Membership, P.O. Box 771, Red Bluff, CA 96080, Annual fee is $40, checks only by mail. Square and cash will be received in person at any meeting.
  • May I attend a meeting if I am not a member?
We have several ways to attend our meetings for non-members. Guests may attend any monthly program meeting by paying a nominal $5 guest fee that helps to cover our rent and program costs. Also, every January we celebrate the new year with a "Friendship Meeting" where no guest fee is charged. At this meeting we typically review the features of our guild and talk about the activities that are planned for that year. Various fun activities are also planned each year for this free meeting.
  • When is the next monthly program meeting?
Our meetings are normally held on the 4th Monday of each month. Due to holidays in May, November and December, those meeting dates may need to be moved, so check out our Schedule Page for details. Occasionally, other meetings are also moved, so it is a good idea to check this link or your newsletter each month for recent schedule changes.
  • Do you have a program for beginning quilters or junior members?
Workshops are held throughout the year to show new quilting techniques. Our Community Service group always has plenty of fabric to practice your new skills while you help our community. Members are welcome to sponsor junior members, age 12 to 17. Juniors may attend free of charge with their sponsoring adult member, as well as participating in a junior sewing group.
