SUN COUNTRY QUILTERS “Trail of Quilts” Quilt Show May 16-17, 2009 Tehama District Fairgrounds, Red Bluff, California Rules of entry, definition of categories, fees, deadlines, times & locations of delivery & pick-up.
Please complete an entry form for EACH individual item. SUBMIT ENTRY FORMS NO LATER THAN MARCH 27, 2009.
The entry fee is $2 per item. Sun Country Quilters reserves the right to limit the number of entries. Items for entry must be dropped off at one of the locations given below on the dates and times indicated. Items will not be accepted at any other time. After the quilt show, your articles will be available for pick up at the exhibit hall on May 17, 2009 between 5-6 pm. Items must be delivered in a separate, CLEAR plastic bag. Garments to be pressed and on a hanger.

Sleeve: You must have a 4” sleeve on back of your quilt. (Excluding miniatures). You must sew the top & bottom of sleeve to back of your quilt.
Label: Each item must have the paper label provided sewn onto back of quilt. Fold your item so label faces OUT & can be seen through CLEAR plastic bag. Sew label on bottom left corner as you are looking at back of quilt.
DEFINITIONS OF CATEGORIES: Large Quilt: Total number of inches around all 4 sides added together is 300” or more. Medium Quilt: Total number of inches around all 4 sides added together is 216 to 299”. Small Quilt: Total number of inches around all 4 sides added together is 73” to 215”. Miniature: Total inches around all 4 sides added together is 72” or less. Appliqué: Predominantly appliqué and/or focus of quilt is appliqué. Pieced: Predominantly pieced and/or focus of quilt is piecing. Other: Embroidery, art quilts, yo-yo, cathedral window, whole cloth, rag quilt or other types that do not fit into appliqué or pieced category.
Hostesses will provide visitor control. Exhibitors are responsible for insurance of their articles. Please check with your insurance agent. Every effort will be taken to insure the safety of your article but neither Sun Country Quilters nor Tehama District Fairgrounds can be held liable for loss or damage. Entry forms may be delivered to Sun Country Quilters Guild meetings or mailed or delivered to Linda Gaines, 619 Oak St., Red Bluff, Ca 96080.
